sorry if i am reposting this after someone else did... But I searched and couldn't find  a solution.

Let me explain. when you look at my gallery there are folders that each have a date on them such as 2006-05-11 . I want them to go from most recent to past in the gallery. I name each of the folders with their date and approve them on the date of the folder. I check sort by name and click descending. I go to the front of the gallery and its still ascending. BUT when I click on the descending box it goes the way I want to but that feature is only per user. I thought well maybe it will work if I sort by approved date. Same thing happens.

Any input would be helpful?

I understand this is still in the beta... hence the reason i was posting the problem to fix it in the new version or provide a fix.
I don't think you got what I was describing....

I select that the sort be done by name and decending. Then I go to be a user and the sort doesn't happen. UNLESS i click on the descending check box as a user. The configuration in the module doesn't stick when you go over to test it in the preview skin.
