Hi,

I have downloaded a German language pack from dnn-usergroup.de
When I want to install this as a new extension I get the error mentioned below.
Is this a valid language pack or do I do something wrong here?

Regards, Ton Hermes

If you have reached this page it is because the installer needs to gather some more information, before proceeding.
This package does not appear to be a valid DotNetNuke Extension as it does not have a manifest. Old (legacy) Skins and Containers do not contain manifests. If this package is a legacy Skin or Container Package please check the appropriate radio button below, and click Next.

I can answer this one because I went through the same thing recently.  I think you might have to extract the zip file - inside are separate language packs for core and modules?

Just open up the zip file and see what is inside - I could be wrong.

Ton, please use "install language pack" in admin :: Languages. Most of the German language packs are in legacy (DNN 4) format, only full packages are simply hierarchic zip files of all the resource files due to missing support for full language packs in DNN 5.x

Cheers from Germany,
