Hi everyone.

I have a question. The portal can be configured generally with two skins: the default portal skin and the  administrator skin.
Right!
I have a problem with the skin of the administrator. I have a module that performs a search of properties. I can define the skin page where I include the module, but when the module processing my request and returns the list of properties the page show the skin of admistrador. Until here everything is OK.

My problem is that I have two different layouts: one for sales and another to rents and here is my problem comes. I can't control the layout of the page where appears my search result  'cause the module will always use the skin of the administrator (this is a default of DNN????), independent of skin I used on the page where the module is inserted.

Confused?

Any solution for this question?

Thank's all and sorry about my bad english.

Hi Fernanda,

A few questions for you;
  • Which version of DotNetNuke are you using - the behaviour of portal skin and admin skin changed around version 5.
  • Are there any errors in the DNN event log - if there is an exception loading a skin it will use the admin skin instead.
  • Is the module results page definitely the same page (same tabid in the URL) as the previous page?
Regards,
Rhys
