Just installed a fresh copy of DNN 5.4.4 successfully, but after logging into the CMS and trying to delete a couple of modules on the home page, I am getting the following error:

"A potentially dangerous Request.QueryString value was detected from the client (error="...$SkinLst="<Use Default Site Sk...")"

Currently this is preventing the deletion of any of the modules.

After further going through the site, I have noticed that this same error happens for the following actions: *Clicking the update button on any of the module settings *Clicking the update button on the admin/host settings pages * Creating a new module * Restarting the Application from the Host Settings

Am I correct to assume that your site runs in an ASP.Net 4.0 application pool? If so that is because request validation is performed on ALL requests in 4.0. Please see the following for details (Request Validation section):

Current: UserExport, ContentDeJour, ePrayer, DNN NewsTicker, By Invitation
Coming Soon: FRBO-For Rent By Owner

That is correct, and nice catch!  Made the changes specified in the link and everything appears to be working.

Thanks!
