I have too many pages and each page is by default visible in the menu (2,600 pages and counting).
I use a third-party menu component for page navigation.

I want to disable the default DNN5 menu to display child menus (only the top menu items are enough). How do I do that?

In the page settings of each page you can enable or disable "Show in Menu".
Untick in each page you don't want to see

Can't do that, bewcause I use also CISS Side menu component for the navigation of the individual pages. When I disable "Show in Menu", it will also not appear in that component.

Thank you
