Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if this is in the right spot or not, so please moderate as needed. I'm also not sure if this is happening to me because of something I did or what, so that is why I am posting here instead of posting it as an issue to DNN's issue tracker.

I have DNN 5.4.2 - I have gone into the Users, Manage profile Properties, and added a few new properties (and set them to visible). I also deleted a few existing ones, and turned visibility off to a few others. I saved all of my changes.

I log out, then log back in and go to my profile page where my ViewProfile module is sitting. I click on edit module.... AND... nothing has changed. Everything is exactly like the way DNN had originally wanted it (Address info, phone number info, etc all still there) no new properties. Has anyone else seen this? Is this a bug or have I screwed something up? Am I looking in the wrong place??? Any insight into my conundrum would be greatly appreciated as I have been hunting this one for several days.

Thank you much!
-D

no, what you've done is correct, however the profile control does not automatically emit all properties in the user profile. To alter what's shown, log in as host, click your username (to get to the profile page) and then edit the settings of the my profile control. Look for the "profile template" section, and click load template - you now have full control over what appears.
