The Quality Manager should not be one of the developing engineers. I think too the dev staff do what they can.
But if I look back and read blogs about testing developement for modules but not a word how you prepare testing for a multiculture platform. I have some doubts that the product reach my quality standard wihout a 5.4.5 and maybe 5.4.6 before 5.5

Hopefully I am totaly wrong.

If you're referring to my reply, Jan, I meant "engineers" as a department, and not a single or specific person.

I think the phrase "I'd love to see more stabilization releases" just about sums it up! Where will it end?

Peter, I cannot disagree, but given the situation, that the release schedule, which has been set up by DNN Corp. Board of Directors / Advisory Board needs to be fulfilled by the development team, it doesn't sound realistic to me.

It is nice to know that you agree, whether or not my question is realistic is another matter. My point is that we have had a range of releases that are difficult to use into a (commercial) environment and I don't see signals that the future will be better.
It also means that we may need to resort to solutions, like developing a core mod, that elevates the bugs that hinder us the most.

Peter

BTW congrats on the game!
