Hello

I use DotNetNuke 5.4.4 and the Events Module 05.00.03. My goal is to get the Event Details on a new page.
The option 'Event Detail New Page' doesn't have any effect. It shows the Event Detail on the same page on
registered user, anonymous and also host/admin user.

I've read the documentation on http://dnnevents.codeplex.com/documen...
and tried also all combination of options. But again no effect. The Event Detail is showed on the same page.

Is there a way to fix this behaviour or do I something wrong?

Thank you

Hi Reto,

It looks like your site is working correctly. Please understand that 'New Page' does not mean 'New Window' or 'New Tab', it means a page with no other DNN modules on it, in effect an empty page. If you are looking for a new windows, then please raise this on CodePlex, it could be an opportunity to re-work the templating of the display of event titles, so people can do this if they want to.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger

Now I understand the function of this option. As first I've had the event module on an page with
modules above. There, I should notice it. But I expected a new window and so I havn't noticed
the difference. You're right.

I'll do a request on CodePlex. Maybe I'm not the only one who's looking for such a function.

Thank you for your quick and competent answer!

Reto
