I'm trying to get the AD authentication setup so that the DNN site will talk to AD. Unfortunately I'm in a bit of a pickle because the server that DNN is on is NOT on the same domain as the AD server.

My question is.... is there any way at all to tell the AD authenticator in DNN the IP or host name to query in order for the authenticator to speak to the AD server?

Thanks!

A quick bump since I posted this right before the July 4th weekend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the web server on a domain at all or is it a stand-alone system? If it's on a domain is there a trust between the domains? I'm not in a situation where I've got multiple domains for testing so I'm not sure what's needed exactly to talk across them but I know others have gotten it working.

The web server is on its own box outside of the domain. Is there a way to establish a trust between the two still that would still make it possible for me to use the AD provider?

That I don't know. I've heard of other people trying it and it working but I don't know how they did it..
