Seems the PDF files are failing to download for users.   They are in public read folders and work in IE.  DNN 5.4.5 .. with iis7 static and dynamic compression enabled.   Could IIS compression be corrupting the file so it doesnt work in some browsers?.. basically even attempting to download the file can crash the end users browser.

I just tested in Chrome and got a few FONT and other errors in Acrobat. Can you try saving the file again and upload that new file?

it happens to all the pdfs on his page.. and even on this one under the same dnn install..  http://www.synodnw.org/Resources/Vouc...   It downloads but imediately says "Stopped" at the bottom of the page.  But if you right click on the pdf.. and open in new window.. it works.

Can you disable IIS compression to test it out further?

I have disabled both static and dynamic compression.   There is something system wide causing intermittant time outs .  I think that bigger issue is affecting this.  I will defer to pro support to help me track that down.
