Hello,

I have created a basic website with DNN. There is nothing fancy to it at all. There are several pages with only HTML/Text modules on them. I have also created an ASPX website (it is actually only 1 page) using Visual Studio 2008. The plan right now is to publish the ASPX website into a folder that is within the DNN site folder. I have customized the ASPX page to look exactly like the DNN page. The reason that I am using ASP and DNN is because there is no module for DNN for what I want to do. I was able to easily do what I want in ASP.

Here is my problem. The DNN site has a search box that searches the DNN site. I want the DNN site to also search the ASPX site, and I want the ASPX site to search the DNN site. Is there a way that I can do this?

I do not have any money to spend to buy 3rd party modules. That is why I am jumping through these hoops.

Thank you for your help!

DNN's search indexing requires MODULES to implement an interface called ISearchable.

You might look at the blog series I did on starting in Module development a few weeks ago, if you know C# it's a great way to get up and running. You can likely port your ASPX page into a DNN module and then implement the ISearchable interface fairly easily.
