Hi All,

I have a news feeds module in my website an i notice that the order of the news items displayed in the module is different from that of the order actually that is coming through the feed. If i paste the feed url in the browser, i'm able to see that the first news item is different from the first news item that is displayed in the news feed module. Similarly all the other news items are displayed in random order. Does anybody have an idea as to why this is happening?

How to make sure the order of the incoming news feeds is displayed in the same order in the module. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Yuva

Is it possible that the order in the feed itself isn't sorted by the date it was published?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply. I did check the feed and it was neither sorted by date or by ascending/descending order of the title. I'm not sure how feeds are built but i assume the incoming feed we use is prioritized in some way so it displays the first news item by priority. If that is the case do i need ask the for a item tag that allows me to sort on it or is there any other way i can do it without asking for a separate item tag.

Regards,
Yuva
