Hi,

I am a very newbie to DotNetNuke community. I have a question of "how DNN differs from the Webparts controls in asp.net 2.0". Are both destined for same purpose?.  Becasue i would like to build a website with CMS support. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Baluk

both techniques have the same purpose, but are developed differently, i.e. derive from different base classes and have different access to the underlying framework support - i.e. modules get access to user data, portal, tab, module settings etc. already provided
