I've tried before to add more sites to my Godaddy hosting in the past, and it gave a message to "Purchase Compatible Hosting", meaning that I could only add one DNN site to the hosting. I called Godaddy and they told me the same thing. That was a couple of years ago, Now, hoping they had changed that, I tried it again and got the same result.
The question is; since I cannot install DNN through Godaddy, can I manually install it and get a working DNN site even though there's another site in the hosting? If so, what's the process? I looked at the Installation Instructions available here on Godaddy, but I didn't see anything in there about what to do in the file manager, sql, or IIS. Or, I will add that if it's there, I missed it.
 Thanks, Jeff...

even if GoDaddy does not support multiple IIS web sites, you may use DNN multiportal feature to host multiple sites with a single web space. if multiple domains aren't supported, you may use sub domains or child portals instead.

Jeff - I just posted a walkthrough on my blog about manually installing GoDaddy in the root of your hosting folder.  Are you trying to install multiple DNN sites (which shouldn't be too tough) or are you wanting one DNN site and one non-DNN site served from the same hosting account?

If multiple DNN sites on the same account are what you want, just create a new parent Portal using the Host account on your existing DNN site, and then point the new domain to the existing hosting account.

I have the hosting set up so that my greenbrierband.net is aliased under the primary domain, and along with that, I have about 60 other NON DNN sites aliased along side the existing DNN site. I can also tell you that I posted This Thread last week that talks about the fact that the Primary Domain, 1 800 Skyride Rip Off in this hosting is a 4.07 DNN site, but when Godaddy changed their page from what it used to be to what is now,  "Godaddy Hosting Connection", the DNN Installation display disappeared, but the site still had full functionality, so I didn't worry too much about it. Then a couple of years later (now), I've come back to a need to use DNN and added Greenbrierband.net, then after talking to the people at Godaddy when I became interested in updating the DNN 4.07 site, they told me that it was still there, but I was not able to see it. During the time that the primary DNN site didn't in the hosting connection, I was successfully able to install the Greenbrier site. Now, they got that fixed, but it still won't update. Now I have a need fro a third DNN site and maybe more.

I hope all that made sense.

 Thanks, Jeff...

Hi again Sebastian, Where would I find the DNN multiportal feature, Is that a download, or is it already in my existing DNN site etc? I would really prefer to use my existing host rather than to have to purchase and renew another or multiple hosting accts.

 Thanks, Jeff...
