Problem is happening again today on the site:

The site will not load www.thesugarbuzzpantry.com

No changes have been made to the site.  Hosted at Godaddy.com

Error on the page is below:

<form name="Form" method="post" action="ErrorPage.aspx?tabid=40&amp;error=D%3a%5cHosting%5c6465866%5chtml%5cAdmin%5cControlPanel%5cRibbonBar.ascx(65)%3a+error+BC30560%3a+'admin_controlpanel_addmodule_ascx'+is+ambiguous+in+the+namespace+'ASP'.&amp;content=0" id="Form">

Changing the web.config and uploading had no effect on the site.

THIS FIX WORKED FOR ME...

This is a problem with as ASP.NET (not the specifically the HOST or DotNetNuke) -- the simple solution is to change you Web.config to allow debug. (Debug=True)  This will force ASP.NET to recompile the entire site and flush the problem Temporary DLL.   May take a minute or so, but your site will come up.  Then update your Web.config again and change back to Debug="False" .  Another re-compile will occur ...

YOu can thank Cathal for this fix ...  see http://www.tressleworks.ca/Blog/tabid...

Good Luck.

Thanks Paul,

I will keep this in mind for next time.  In the meantime, I had deleted the web.config file from the site and relaunched the site.  Go the error about the file missing.  Loaded it back out, reloaded the site and it came up.  Frustrating.  I have about 9 or 10 sites running DNN on GoDaddy and this site happens to be on a server that the rest of them are not and is the only one that experiences this problem every few weeks.  Coincidence perhaps.

Thanks again,

Doug

Ok, the next time was sooner than I thought.  Got home 4 hours later and had a message from my user that their site was down again with the same issue I posted below.  Tried the DEBUG -> True then DEBUG -> false and the site came up but that is not going to be the solution that sits well with the client.  When I did get back in, I went to the event viewer and it did not indicate much about that error but had 204 pages of the following errors.  Related (?)

The errors from the event viewer shown below have been "resolved".  The purge started working after I change the scheduler from Timer to Request mode, change the purge interval from 1 minute to 5 minutes with failure retry every 2 minutes and after taking Sebastian's last piece of advice from the following post:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/F...

However, I am not convinced this is related to my original issue of the "duplicate in the namespace" issue.  I will wait until morning to see if the site comes up.  Blizzard in the Midwest of USA tonight tomorrow and wednesday so I will have a lot of time to look at this problem
