I'm currently crafting a custom tool to sync user accounts between our DNN installation and another in-house customer database we use.

I thought I could use the LastModifiedOnDate column in the USER table to determine which users have had changes, but this field seems to be updated even when a user logs into the portal.

Does anyone know of another field, in this or another table, that I could use to determine which users have had their profile or role assignment changes and thus require syncing?

Thanks in advance,

Greg

I'm using triggers to get around this issue. I have update/delete/insert triggers on USERS, USERPROFILE, USERROLES and USERPORTALS.

please note, triggers are potentially dangerous as their existance can cause upgrade scripts to fail -i suggest you script and drop them before an upgrade, and then reapply them after.
