I have done a search and tried a few of things suggested, but the RSS button on all of the modules I have tried it on seem to just reload the page.  I have tried it on Text/HTML and Events.  For what it's worth, after enabling the Syndicate option on the modules, I went into the host settings and re-indexed the search, but still no luck.  Are there any options I am leaving out?

Thanks,

John

Nobody has experienced this?

Can you look in the Search tables and see if your content was actually indexed?  The syndication feature works directly off the core search function, so if search is not enabled then syndication won't work.

Hello Joe,

I have searched the index and re-indexed and it certainly appears that there is data for the modules I am trying to add the feed for.

Thanks,

John

I am having the same problem. The "Syndicate" button at the module level is not working regardless of the type of module. I have tried with the Forum, Events, and Form and List. I have checked the box to "Allow Syndicate" in the module's Page Settings.  But when I click the Syndicate button, it just opens a new window and loads the page I was on. It does not generate an RSS feed. However, in the Events module, if I click on the "Events RSS" button (displayed at the top of the event list), that does generate an RSS feed.

I am running DNN 5.5.1, Forum module 4.5.3, Event module 5.1.4, Form and List module 5.1.3.

The Search Engine Schedule is running as a scheduled task and the history shows it is indexing the content. When I search the contents is found as expected. I have re-indexed and restarted the site.

The only error in event viewer after restarting the application is the following:

Can anyone assist me with this - I'm not sure what else to look at.
Thanks, Joan
