I just added the latest Form and List module. 5.1.3

I can add records and I can edit records. 

The LIST  shows up with the Edit icon and I can go in and EDIT the form( record) . 

But I just cannot figure out how to make the FORM (record)  show up in Display mode, for all other Users, and thus they would have a DISPLAY ICON and  not EDIT ICON, (actually I would like both icons)

If I make FORM and LIST   X Edit Mode not allowed , I see the list of records, in the  LIST part .. but there is no DISPLAY icon to get to the actual record in the FORM , so I cannot see the whole record.

What I want - It would be nice if users could go in and either EDIT  the record if they had this permisiion, or DISPLAY  the record ( In display mode they should be able to use email fields, download fields, link fields etc.  they could not change anything.. butthey could get to all the information.

I just did a normal install of the module, which worked great

Also in edit mode .. I can choose the download documents, which is great,  But later because I cannot actually get to the record in DISPLAY mode, I cannot actually download the document off the DNN serrver to my PC.

PS.. Obviously I am missiing something, I have tried lots.. but no luck. any help would be appreciated.  PS ..I am fairly new to the development part and I am not a .net devloper. ( wish I was)

I can enter changes.   But I also would like to click another icon, besides the edit icon , if possible, to go into display mode of the full (customer)record.

What I want is to have just one or two  people enter all the records. 
Everybody else can display the full record on the form , and to also be able to download any documents I have as type download. It would be nice if they could also edit a notes field, but even that could be left to 1 or 2 people, (editing fields)

Thus , I have the LIST .. and I have the Form..  But I always end up in edit mode on the form when I allow edit,, yes that makes sense.  But, If I  set the settings to View only, I can view the List, but I cannot get to the Form/record  ( customer record in my case) to see , no pencil and no View Icon, instead of a Edit Icon.

Thus I need a VIEW icon, which also allows me to click for downloads etc.
