Hi
Upgrade from DNN 5.4.2 to DNN 5.4.4
The Upgrade ran successfully (without Error)
BUT - now no Host Login (or any other account).

I did the upgrade as usual.  (Copying the unzipped files over the site wwwroot).
I updated release.config connectionStrings and machineKey validationKey and decryptionKey (All copied from previous web.config)
I saved release.config as a new version of web.config.

I opened the site url and the upgrade process ran without error and I followed the "Congratulations now Go to your site" Link.
The site came up and navigates all without error.
However I cannot now log in on any account.
I have seen this before when the machineKey settings

Has anyone seen this problem?
Any advice?
Regards
DC

Are you sure that you got all of the web.config items.

it is no longer necessary to modify any web.config items for upgrades.  That changed with DNN 4.6.2 and later.

If you have a backup, a rollback might be your best bet.

Thanks Mitchell.
I am interested in this "No need to do any web.config changes" for updates.
How is that supposed to work?

Once you have a backup to be safe, simply extract the "Upgrade" package over the installation then navigate to http://www.yoursite.com/install/install.aspx?mode=install and DNN does the rest.
