Hello,
I am looking after a website that is causing problems recently when trying to make changes as follows:
- Adding a new page - error message: an error has occured; error:page management currently not available
- Profile properties - error message: manage profile properties is currently not available
- User settings - error message: a critical error has occured - invalid object name 'dbo.vw_lists'
Any minor changes such editing text are working OK and the site itself seems to work OK online.
Would anybody know what is wrong with the site?
Best regards

Hello Roger,
what version of DotNetNuke are you using? Is this an install or have you upgraded from a previous version? Could you please log in and go to admin->event viewer and see if that provides any further details on the errors?

The vw_lists view is a key view that is used in a number of places, it's concerning that you can't see it - can you open your web.config and look for the following 2 attributes and let me know what values they're set as (objectQualifier , databaseOwner)-it's possible that an install installed via one objectqualifier (e.g. "roger_" which would mean that all objects would have that appended e.g. be dbo.roger_vw_lists, but that an upgrade did not use the same qualifier and caused this issue

Thanks,
Cathal

Hi Cathal,
How do I find the DNN version? It is an install, not an upgrade. The event viewer lists page load, module load and general exceptions. Below is a typical page load exception log:

there seem to be an file from your skin package missing. Does the error occur since you installed the skin or later?

I am not 100% sure but it looks like the problem came when the site was transferred to another host.
