Hi, I'm trying to get a save as dialog to open to download a PDF from a usercontrol. On my usercontrol I have a button which in the button event has code like:


        Response.ContentType = "Application/pdf";

        Response.AppendHeader("Content-Disposition", string.Format("attachment; filename=\"" + "fileName" + "\""));

        Response.BinaryWrite(content);

        Response.End();

This approach works for me when not in DNN but when I try this in DNN from my usercontrol the dialog never gets displayed. No exceptions apppear to be thrown just no dialog.

Can anybody help me with this?

I tried changing it to: Response.Clear(); Response.ClearContent(); Response.ClearHeaders(); Response.ContentType = "Application/pdf"; Response.AppendHeader("Content-Disposition", string.Format("attachment; filename=\"" + "fileName" + "\"")); Response.BinaryWrite(content); Response.End(); Still doesn't seem to work. I'm pretty sure it's got to do with DNN because it works outside DNN. Any ideas?
