Installing V3.2.2 on IIS6, SQL 2000

Any direction would be much appeciated....

Try this... this is the only thing I did differently on the fifth attempt and it worked.

First four failures: I was connected to the web server via Remote Desktop and configuring IIS and using “DotNetNuke” as the alias.

Success: I configured IIS directly on the machine (no Remote Desktop to the server) and I used “DNN” as the alias.

I can’t for the life of me understand why changing the alias would have an effect, but I would bet that using a remote connection or vpn to access the server and configure IIS might generate issues.

Another thought, in order to get a successful install you just have to keep trying till you hit it…kinda like ring-toss at the county-fair...try long enough you are bound to win a prize…

I am having the same problem... but not sure how to figure it out...

Server Error in '/' Application.
