Hi All,
Well i figured out the error. The issue was from the un-availability of the <folders> tab in the portal. Previously i exported the template without content and my exported template had some modules like repositoy, events etc. that requires folder location to save the content uploaded with these module. So, i re-exported the template with content this time and edited it with adding new tabs and relative tab module permissions with the newly created roles. So, now i am facing another issue during newly created/updated portal template file duing import process. I am facing such error :

*.template file is not valid template file. Element 'Portal' has invalid child element 'tabs'.

If anyone having idea about this error. I checked with old template files and the child element 'tabs' is valid in template file, because it exists already in other template files created by dotnetnuke export template wizard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The last issue which  i resolved now is that the sequecne of <tabs>  is just before <folders> tab. It should be actually on at last position in the template file.
then we will not receive the error "portal tab has invalid child elements in template file".

Hi Sabestian,

Previously i had resolved this issue. But Again i am facing this due to another reason. Above mentioned solution is not working for me now. Mitchel has pointed me that this error is related to "File Manager".
Error: Error parsing Portal TemplateViolation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'IX_FolderPermission'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.FolderPermission'.

Please let me know if you or any dnn member having any idea about it.
Thanks
