I'm trying to install dnn 5.4 on my win vista (net 3.5, IIS 7) but i get the error in the subject

Searching in the web, seems that it is a permission issue on the web.config. I gave full controll to all my user accounts but i cannot solve it.

Any tips ?

I read this, it is related to WIN 7 and IIS 7.5, while i have Vista and IIS 7.

Anyway i tried to follow the steps to assign the permission to the IIS AppPool\DefaultAppPool, but the modal window don't allow me to save the object name because is invalid

The AppPool Identity features in IIS 7.5 is different than IIS 7. You can use the same procedure, but use Network Service as the App Pool user.
