Can anyone confirm that the What's New Module will install and work on DNN v5.2 and up?

i assume you mean the one from http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Development/Downloads/ProjectsDownloads/tabid/1373/Default.aspx ? This is an old, unsupported module, but it should still work, however I recommend you try it out in a test/dev environment.

 Thanks Matthias. I wanted to hear that from someone, as I tried installing the chat module on a live 5.x site and it brought down the whole site. I didn't want to go through that with this module too.
