Hello All,

I'm trying to modify the source code of events module but unfortunately getting lots of errors and unable to debug or get a successful build. Could anybody please direct me on how to install the source code of events module and customize it. I followed the below url but was not successful.

Events Source Code Installation

I got the error mentioned in the below post and cleared it yet getting more errors mentioned below.

http://web3.dotnetnuke.com/Community/...

Errors:
Attribute 'AssemblyTitleAttribute' cannot be applied multiple times
Type 'DesignerActionList' is not defined.
Type 'DesignerActionService' is not defined.
Type 'ScheduleDesigner' is not defined.
Name 'GetService' is not declared.
 ...and many more errors

Appreciate any directions and inputs on how to modify the code for events module. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Yuvaraj

The posting you point at seems to be related to source version of 2008.

Best/most simple option is for Events 5.1.4:
  • Start with a clean DNN 5.4.4 site.
  • just install the source pack as you would install de normal module: Host -> Modules -> Install Module.
Now you have a solution in the DesktopModules\Events folder. All elements of the sources, projects and solution of Events are included in the source package.
There is a possbility that you have to verify the References, but this shouldn't be a problem for a developer?
