Hi Martin,

today I had the time to try a new install with the wizard, as your needed configuration using the DNN 5.5.0.  I could successfull install the DNN instance.  So I am 100% sure it happens anything with the settings.  I can suggest to you a RDP support if you still need it.  If you want please contact me via E-Mail or MSN.

I appreciate your offer, but I am not set up to offer an RDP connection. I have provided detailed information about the steps I followed and even screen shots of my SQL Server configuration - I am hoping that is sufficient. If not, let me know what is missing and I will provide it. Cheers, Roger

On the web.config you should also have a line with the SqlDataPrivider where you have to set a objectQualifier if you want additional check this option and you have to change the datbaseOwner.  I have followed a sample:

<add name="SqlDataProvider" type="DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider" connectionStringName="SiteSqlServer" upgradeConnectionString="" providerPath="~\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\" objectQualifier="dnn_" databaseOwner="dnnuser" />

To make sure I present you a image of the user setting for the database on the SQL Server you needed.  You can open this setting over SSMS on the security by edit the user settings. Sorry about it is from a german application, I market the points with a arrow.

Then run the install on a new clean configured database as a "auto" install.
