Hi, is it possible to have a different SQL Server Express 2008 for each child portal? Thanks.

You could only install one SQL Server instance.  But it is posible to create for each DNN instance a own database.

My website is like 'USwhatever.org/states', so far I have only one child portal at 'USwhatever.org/states/CT'. The DNN is Starter edition installed in '/States' directory, my web host doesn't install DNN in the root. So, you suggest to install DNN in ' /CT' folder, and soon to be '/NY' and 'MA' folders? If that is the case what kind of DNN edition should I install, Starter or Install edition? Can I still control all of child Portals from just 'USwhatever.org/states', as a Host? Thank you.
