I downloaded the source of an existing application to do a run through of a migration. I am upgrading from a DNN 4.5.5 application to DNN 5.4.4.

The upgrade process ran without any errors or exceptions, however I am not able to access *ANY* of the Admin or Host pages in my installation.

I am able to browse through the entire site, edit modules, update details, but I receive a 404 (page not found) error when I try to navigate to either the Admin or Host pages.

Has anyone run into this issue?

Thanks in Advance!

please check that you migrated the necessary settings (ie. both connection setttings, the machinekey and any app_code entries) to the new database - the automatic merging of web.config values was only introduced in 4.6.2

Have all been salvaged from my existing apps web.config file. Are there any modules that are used to grant access to the Host or Admin sections that aren't used by PortalModuleBase?

you should upgrade in multiple steps via DNN 4.6.2 and 4.9.5

I have successfully upgraded to 4.6.2, however If I do the upgrade to 4.9.5 it breaks the same as it did when I did the upgrade directly from 4.5.5.

Any thoughts on Database changes that may effect the Url of the admin?
