Hello,

Please assist me that how can I hide/disable "View/Edit" RibbonBar for Normal User, Not for "Super & Admin" User.

Make sure that you have not granted Edit permission to "Unauthenticated Users" or "All Users" on either the page or any module on the page where the ribbon bar is showing for the "normal" user. If it is showing on all pages, most likely Edit permission has been granted on a module that has also been enabled to show on all pages.

Hi Wiliam, Fisrt of all thanks for your reply. I have set "Edit Permission" to only for "Registered Users". As in my module I am redirect normal User from View control to Edit control to edit the record but at Edit page The View/Edit Ribbon Bar displays which I need to hide for only normal Users. As I am new for Dotnetnuke so please assist me william. Thanks & Regards, Kaushal Jani

Hi William,

Thanks for reply. As I have checked in at my page level for permission and Its only assigned to Registerd Users Only for "View Page", Still I got the Ribbon Bar for View/Edit. How I have to hide/remove that.

Hi Guys, Hi Found the solution of this above question "Hide/Disable Ribbon Bar for Normal User " from ROBAX forum. Thanks to ROBAX. Here is the solution for that: Go into Admin, Site settings and in the usability section change the Control Panel Security to Page Editors. This restores the option to how it was prior to 4.55 - invisible to module editors.
