Is there a way we can use the [FILE] token and NOT have a GUID embedded in the filename?

I know that we can use the [URLCONTROLFILE] token, but that is way too difficult for the users from what I can figure out.

Here are the steps when using the [URLCONTROLFILE] token:
  1. Click the Upload button.
  2. and then Change the Link Type from URL to File.
  3. and then Ignore the File Location.
  4. and then Ignore the File Name.
  5. and then Click Upload New File link.
  6. and then Click the Browse button.
  7. and then Click the Upload Selected File link.
  8. and then Click the Upload button.

The file is uploaded to the PORTAL ROOT.  Not where it belongs?

Here are the steps when using the [FILE] token:

  1. Click the Upload button.
  2. and then Click the Browse button.
  3. and then Click the Upload button.

The file is uploaded to the specified directory.

Using the [FILE] token is simple and works perfectly.  I just need to get the GUID out of the actual filename.

THANKS!

No, those are the only 2 options for uploading files.   Unfortunately with the core URL control, the File Location is controlled by the user, the module cannot force a specific location.
