I noticed that the DNN professional comes with Telerik and if you investigate Telerik's site there is no mention of it. In fact they sell many versions/platforms so that's also confusing.

What I need to know is the DNN version able to make Grids (GridView) and forms? My site is a tracking site of sorts so forms to gather information and grids to display that information is essential. I was thinking about using jgGrid (jQuery grid) for the grids and look for a form creating application/control, but if DNN's Telerik solution can do both why not just get DNN Professional?

At this point any input would be appreciated, I am not a developer and may use one to incorporate forms and Grids into a module.

Actually DNN CE comes with the Telerik controls as well, but you aren't legally allowed to use them in your development unless you have a Telerik development license. If you purchase DNN PE you basically get a development license for Telerik as well.

In CE though you can use any wrappers that expose the Telerik functionality, unfortunately I don't know which ones are currently available.
I've created a new Wiki page to list the various DNN controls/wrappers, though it will take some time to get it updated with all the information.

Thanks for the reply!

But before spending $1299.00USD , and dieing from 1000 cuts, I would like to know what the license includes. I've been on the Telerik site and found several very confusing things. For example: They have RadForms that is based on WinForms but don't say if you have to buy WinForms to use RadForms. So would creating 2 forms and 2 Grids (one a subset of the other) using Telerik be OK as long as I don't use the in my public site?

Another question, if you look at jgGrids you'll notice it uses jQuery Themes (free ThemeRoller) and when using Telerik they support their version of themes...also great, but would the Telerik version of themes come with DNN's Telerik deal?

Thanks

Vic
