hi

here is my problem: i have upload a new skin with the wizard then applied it. from since i am getting an error page with a button return to site. when i click on that the same message reloads

You're probably going to need to get into the Database to modify the PortalSettings for the default skin for a portal

Something like this (backup your website database before you run this) 



update portalsettings
set SettingValue = '[G]skins/MinimalExtropy/index.ascx'
where SettingName = 'DefaultPortalSkin'
and PortalId=0
