I am using Events 5.1.4 on a DNN 5.5 installation. It is working great. However there is a request coming my way to see if there is a possibility to see the First and Last names of the enrolled users for a particular event - this would be in addition to the Display Name and Email Address already shown.

I thought I could just click on the display name of the enrolled user to see their details - however it just takes me back to the home page of my site. That may be a bug... but I am not sure.

Does anyone have a idea on how I can have this type of functionality added. or are there settings I can change?

Let me know. Thank you.

Hi,

In theory it should click through to the userprofile of the user, dependant on whether the user has made their profile visible of not. Can you provide a link yo your site? When you hover over this display name, can you right click and take a copy of then shortcut. It should be in the format:-

http://domainname/UserProfile/tabidid...

Or similar depending on your friendly url settings.

Cheers
Roger

Here is a link to the page in question...

http://obesitysolutions.com/GetSTARTED/InformationSeminarsFREE.aspx

When logged into the site and checking the enrolled user list is give me the following shortcut:

http://obesitysolutions.com/Home/tabi...

I wonder why Home is listed in that URL...  but even if I try to go here:

http://obesitysolutions.com/UserProfi...

it still reverts back to the home page.

Any thoughts?

Hmm, this is new functionality, and by the look of it isn't working in all situations. What friendly url settings are you using? I think you should be able to find these in your Host Settings.

Also, if you can post the url after you have clicked on your name where your login link is, then that should give me an idea of what the url should look like on your site. For instance the following is the link to my profile on my site - http://www.thedivingclub.co.uk/UserPr...

Cheers

OK, had a brain wave. Got to Adsmin Settings on your site, and in the Advanced Settings/Page Management section, make sure that the User Profile Page is set to User Profile (or at least a page you have set up with the User Profile module on it). It may currently be set to 'Home'.

If you don't have a User profile page, you need to do some research on fixing that page, because I know on some 5.4.x upgrades (including my sites upgrade) the page didn't get created correctly.

Cheers
