Is there an example of code for automatically sending an email to the user that clicks the submit button of a Indoolab form? I would also consider paying someone to help me make this work.

I am running DNN 5.4.4 and Indoolab 2.6.2.

Regards,
M.

for questions regarding 3rd party extensions, please use support options provided by the developer or vendor. Thank you.

Hi Michael

 I have tried it once

Go to table settings -> Show advanced settings

In textbox "Send gridEdit summary to mail:" the help says:

>>"Optional. On valid insert or edit send input summary to specified mail. More mail address should be separated with semicolon. You can also set subject and your own body text using vertical line as separator with syntax: mail(s)|subject|body. This is not for mass mailing because for more recipients each mail is send separately. All tokens are supported except [sendMail] token for mass mailing."<<

In my case it looks like this (mail text is in danish ;O()

>>[GridEditColumn:EmailAdresse]|Tak for din tilmelding|Kære [GridEditColumn:Deltagernavn]

Tak for din tilmelding til [SqlQuery:select KursusTitel from pp_kurser where kursusId =[GridEditColumn:KursusId]], som starter den [SqlQuery:SELECT CONVERT(varchar(10),KursusStartDato,104) from pp_kurser where kursusId =[GridEditColumn:KursusId]]. Du vil inden kurset modtage program, praktiske oplysninger mm. Ved spørgsmål kontakt

Med venlig hilsen<<

Kind regards

Jimmi Aakjaer, Denmark
