Hi,
I want to create a web application project using dotnetnuke. I got some idea about creating DNN Module.
Can anyone please clarify my doubts about dotnetnuke.
1. Is Dotnetnuke module and Web Application is same?
2. I want to make a Web Application(Ex: School Management System) in DotNetNuke. My understanding is, we need to design the page in
dotnetnuke and what all functionlaties required in that page(ex; student registration), that functionalities we  need to develop in Visual Studio.
Then add in to the dotnetnuke as a module. Am I correct?
3. Actually my scope is to develop a School Management System Using DotNetNuke. Can anyone please give some suggesion on that.
How to make a web application like that in dotnetnuke?

Please help me ...

Use the Compiled Module template in teh Starter Kit download.  That will set everything up for you to build a module.

Hi Philip,
I installed DotNetNuke compiled module and created a module.
I need to know only these things
1. I have two pages, one is login form and other is Students Details form.
When I logged in, it will show next page(students details page).
In DotNetNuKe How to do this?

Please reply...

you will create a module with 2 controls, one for default (list) view and another one with details, according to the record selected (e.g. by using QS param and editurl). Check out DNN module dev tutorials at dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com
