Friends,

When I edit in FCK (which is GREAT and WAY better than FTB) the font is arial, then upon update it is tahoma. Tahoma is what I want it to end up as but how can I change editing font to Tahoma as well? This would make it easier to understand for end users.

Many thanks,

FCKEditor uses its own editorarea.css by default

There is an option included with the provider to use the DNN Loaded .css files instead, but you must configure it:

  1. Enter your site as an administrator
  2. Open the custom properties dialog from your provider
  3. Change the "List of available styles" and "Editor Area CSS" to Dynamic

Hope it helps

I tried this and it didn't work.  Is there a way to just force the editor to use the site css?  All the time?  for all users?  Or is what you stated supposed to do this?

Yes, the step 3 I mentioned before does that.

Mauricio,

Did you mean the List of available styles for the editor and Editor area CSS should be switched to dynamic and no other selections made, or did you mean that after switching to dynamic specific files/URLs should be picked?

I notice that if I do not pick a file/URL then the editor lists all my CSS styles along with some strange stuff (I have one of my uploaded images in there!). If I try to pick a file/URL then I can only pick portal.css under Editor area CSS. I can't pick a CSS file under List of available styles for the editor because it is looking for XML files only.

My practise is to define all styles in the skin.CSS and have nothing in the portal.CSS. Is there a way the editor can list and use these styles?
