Hello I am new to DNN and have been using it to build a Intranet for experience before using it to replace my main website.

The question I have is that I modified the Links module to pass the PortalID in a Promptex command with the URL so that my customer can pull a report that is based on what portal they are logged in to. The modified module works great BUT I would still like to use the unmodified Links module in other areas on the website. All I did was append the commands after the URL in the Links.aspx control. Is there an easy way to just rename the module to LinksCR?

And since I am testing this on a development enviroment can I just replace the Links.aspx control in the original Links install zip and Rename the install package?
