I have noticed an oddity between using FCKEditor and Telerik.  When I started using DNN I didn't like the Google Analytics code options so I used a workaround using a HTML module on every page with the GA code, hiding the container.  It worked great.

When I recently upgraded to 5.x using Telerik, the code doesn't show up when I look at the HTML in the Telerik editor?  It's there because the source says so and GA is working.  Although on one site I accidentally deleted one of these modules and tried to put it back, when I place just the GA code in the HTML portion, SAVE, it didn't work.  I go back into the editor and switch the HTML, no code.

I used the editor today with our news module trying to put an extra space at the bottom of some HTML code and when I save it, come back in the <br /> is gone?

Is there a reason why Telerik is stripping the HTML code?

Thanks always for the guidance.

That is an odd implementation of google analytics.

Why don't you easily put the code at Default.aspx two lines from the bottom. For the Body close.

First off, you should put your GA code in your skin file, not in a HTML module. I wouldn't recommend putting it in the defauls.aspx either, since that is prone to being overwritten during an upgrade.

The Telerik RadEditor has this thing about removing line breaks. If you search teleriks site, you will see there are posts in there addressing this issue.  I have found numerous issues with the DNN provider. You may want to look into this provider on codeplex: http://radeditor.codeplex.com/. I've used it on a few sites this month and the difference is huge, IMO.
