The signin skin object is really useful as it enables us to put a login panel on the skin and not use a module. We want the users to be able to add pages
but not have to add an account module every time they do.

Can anyone tell me when this might be fixed. I see it's been around for a long time. Or can anyone recommend a third party object that does the same thing?

Hi guys... did you get any progress on the missing signin.ascx ?

Having the signin skin tag was quite important to us as well...  I really, really, really don't want to add a login module to each and every page... setting security so it vanishes as I go.

I can't imagine why they dropped such a strong design option... it was clearly dropped suddenly without warning because it's still in the documentation.
