Hello Everyone,

How can I have a user be redirected to another page after logging in?

I added the Account Login module to a DNN page called Test_1.aspx. The intent is to have a hyperlink on the home page that when clicked, will take a user to Test_1.aspx. After the user enters a *valid* User Name and Password on Test_1.aspx and clicks [Login], I want the user to be redirected to Test_2.aspx. How do I get this to work?

TIA,
Steven

This will likely need to be done with a custom login module, I don't think you can do this with the core login modules. I believe Datasprings has a login module, you might check it out.

Have you tried changing the "Redirect After Login" setting? Go to Admin > Users > User Settings and you should see the redirect after login option.

There's always that ;) I assumed he wanted to redirect different places based on different parameters, which that setting won't allow.

Yeah, thanks for your feedback. But Admin > User Accounts > User Settings is a global setting that affects every login type, including the standard DNN login located in the LoginPane. I still want the default functionality that is currently available for developing DNN pages. In addition, I want a separate login for public access to my site, that would redirect the user to a specific user-defined page. What about Forms Authentication? Is that difficult to integrate with a DNN site?
