I have DNN 5.05 installed on a Windows Server 2008 Server and SQL 2008R2.  Everything seems to be fine, except i am trying to configure active directory authentication, and there is no 'Authentication' menu option under the admin menu.  Am i missing something?  I have read through the forums and did not see anyone with a similar issue.

Thanks!
Rick

Rick, in DNN 5, please use "Extensions" in Admin menu to configure authentication.

Ok, under entensions there are a few options.  There is the "Authentication System" category which lists Default Authentication, LiveID, and OpenID.  I don't see any options in there to configure for windows authentication.  Then, under modules, there is an Authentication on which references windows authentication, but does not really give me any options.  I also tried adding that module and there are again no options other than the standard options for every other module.

Please note that this system is not an active directory controller (but is in an AD network), and i need to authenticate via LDAP or RADIUS or anything of the sort to verify users... Am i missing a core module or something somewhere?  If so, how do i install it?

Ok, i think i found it.  For the sake of the thread, here is what i did:

Under the HOST menu, go to 'Extensions'.  At the bottom, click on 'Install Available Extensions'.  ActiveDirectory should be listed there, just install it and *then* go to the Admin menu to configure it!

Thanks again...
