Hi,

What I find very strange is that a user open the site with:
http://mydomainname.nl/Default.aspx?TabId=38&language=nl-NL

I would expect http://www.mydomainname.nl only.

At this first hit the empty exception is thrown.

http://mydomainname.nl/Default.aspx?TabId=38&language=nl-NL is the correct syntax with all values provided and no url rewrite required.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Hi,

In version 5.4.2 I could upload a file of 1 MB without any problems to a back ground thread. Now I get next error and a timeout. I also remember that I needed to remove moving to asp 4.0 the tag: requestValidationMode="2.0" from the code below. Can this be related?

Hi,

I believe the performance problems occur if a user is authenticated. In that case the complete browser hangs (IE) for that authenticated user. Meanwhile, the database can be queried through an RDP connection without any problems. At times it hangs, but the query is finished as once the IE stops hanging. Meanwhile you can browse without any problems on a non-authenticated browser. I have sql express installed so I cannot look if the database is the problem since I believe sql analyzer is not there. I only see the memory is 1.8GB in use of 2GB and is paged. However, in the past SQL did the same and now it is a problem.

Hi,

It is even getting more dramatic. A user tries to login, the event log does log so, but the user is not logged in. This version of DNN 5.5.1. is not stable at all. I would I had never installed it. It means that my customers cannot purchase any goods on my website :-(.
