A strange thing happened to my staging installation of DNN 5.5.
I am implementing a custom login page and was unable to find the User Login module. Some investigation later it turns out that the Module "Authentication" has dissappeared. How it got lost I may never know, but how do I replace it? Even weirder, the site works well without it, just cannot implement a custom login.

I cannot find this module to re-install anywhere in my source or on the dotnetnuke forge.
This is Module "DotNetNuke.Authentication" package ID No 1.

Am I missing something (like a brain) or do I have to re-install DNN from scratch?

Hi Sebastian,

all of the authentication types were installed correctly, and working, it was just the authentication module itself that was missing. It was probably uninstalled by another admin and the files left intact.

Because I couldn't find the zip for that package I ended up creating a new package of the authentication module from my development machine and installing that on the staging server.
