That's a good question - and it comes up from time to time.

When you create your page - you'll see a checkbox  - it's got user roles in it.. select registered users  to view it and it will be hidden until they log in.

Hi

Thats close to what I was after, however I want the the page listed on the menu to 'all users' but only visible like you say if the registered user is loged in?

So you want the page to show, but the content of the page to be hidden unless they are logged in?

If that is the case you change the permissions of the module - in the module settings area. You can choose to let a module take the *page permissions* or you can uncheck the box and set the permissions yourself to registered users.

That will then let the page be displayed to everyone but the content not be displayed.

Is that sort of what you mean?

Yup getting closer :)

By changing the module options like you say i end up with a blank page which i could resolve but I would rather that an non loged in person was prompted to login rather than seeing an empty page.

You can replicate this by creating a hidden page with registered user permissions that the menu links too. When the un registered user clicks the menu option they are promted to sign in.

I wondered if there was a more direct route than to keep creating hidden pages?
