Any workarounds for this issue? I need to post a 150MB file tomorrow for our software release.

I'm using a zip file, but I'm positive it is a size limit, as I've done quite extensive testing with different filenames, file sizes, etc.

Some ideas to narrow it down...

I've tried the same filename over and over, incrementing the file size until it stops synchronizing (I can't remember the size it stops right now, but say 30 MB)

I've tried upping the limits in my web.config to handle a really big upload.
<httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="307200" requestLengthDiskThreshold="307200" executionTimeout="1200"/>
It uploads the file to the file system directory (I've opened the file on the server in the dir), but the upload "finishes" with this error:
An Error Has Occurred When Attempting To Save The File D:\[mydir]\Portals\3\Downloads\VisionStrategist5\Release\TestUpload.zip. Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been Enabled On The Server

Existing files in the dir that are 173MB are not changed/edited in any way.

I'd even be happy if you could tell me the stored procedure or table to edit/change to hack it for today.

if you need to upload large files, you should use a dedicated upload component, e.g. free module from OliverHine.com

Thanks for all your help so far, I'm a little closer....

I downloaded the upload file module from OliverHine.com and did some testing.

It works fine on my main portal, it doesn't work on my child portal (which is where I need it). I create a new folder in File Manager off of the root on both sites. On my child portal http://www.sopheon.com/support, I get this error

In windows explorer, file permissions for my portals are inherited, so no difference on either folder there.

Any more ideas?
