Hi,

I am trying to create a Report Viewer module for an existing DNN site. DNN Version 5.05.01 - VS2010 - .Net 4.0

This problem occurs on two different machines with two different projects.

I can add a ReportViewer control to a .ascx document. However, if I click on the 'Design a new Report' shortcut, the wizard will fail to load indicating that it 'Could not load a file or assembly'.

The reference it indicates is different on each machine and the only common aspect that I can put my finger on is that the assembly is in the bin folder rather than the GAC (like the Report Viewer).

I found others with a similar errors on the MSDN site here:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vsreportcontrols/thread/c42d3ff5-0e03-40be-9841-469f8c43297b

Any Ideas? I would be interested to know if others can replicate the issue at all.

Cheers,

Tim

Would anyone mind trying a reportviewer in their test site to see if there is an issue?

Cheers.
