A question about the XML module and caching:
when the xml module is set to cache (time other than 0 in the module caching settings), what gets cached? the xml file? the html output (assuming that is the ouput of the transform)?

it seems that it is the xml file; I am using the xml module heavily with a static xml file and  parameters for the xsl file,
on the xml modules with caching turned on, when the xml file is changed the change is not reflected in the content. But the old content / xml responds to parameter changes and the html output changes.

The answer is the same for any module that supports module caching: The HTML output gets cached for all anonymous users.

thanks Stefan,

ok, that makes sense, the URL with parameters gives a new page to be cached for each parameter change. so the html output of the xml module that is cached is different on each page / URL.
