A newcomer to DNN so please be gentle!

I have 5.5.1 of DNN Community edition
The WEbsites are hosted on my WebServer which has in the past been used fro self written ASP projects, decided this time that rather than starting the whole thing form scratch to look at something that might allow me to concentrate on the value added items and have the basics done for me.

Anyway the question at install I selected all DNN modules (I am fairly sure I did anyway)

One item I would like to try out is the gallery feature

When I go to the Modules page it is not listed

When I scroll to the bottom of the module Definintions list the Green + Install module option is not showing.

I am logged in as the site Host Super Administrator account

Should Gallery be availble on my version? Why do I net get the Install module option (is it that I have everything available and there is nothing to install??)

Any help appreciated

The DotNetNuke Gallery module is NOT included in the DotNetNuke version 5.05.01 framework package due to issues which the last official release (4.03.00) has when running under ASP.Net 4.0 or DotNetNuke 5.05.xx.

You may want to try the Gallery 04.03.02 BETA release available for download from the project's CodePlex page: http://dnngallery.codeplex.com/releas...

After downloading the Gallery install package, navigate to Host-->Extensions and click on the Extension Installation Wizard button at the very bottom of the page or in the Extensions module action menu.

I keep hoping that I'll soon get the Gallery 04.03.02 BETA (after fixing a couple of recently reported issues) into the official release testing process so that it can once again be included in framework packages but keep getting delayed due to other work.

William thanks for your quick response.

I guess the gallery item was a supplimentary part ot my question when I go to the Host -> Extensions and scroll to the bottom I do not have the + Add options as shown in the user manual, same as with the Modules page there are no add options available.

I am logged in as the Super user account and all other site icons (pencil Edit, X delete, etc) seem to be there but the 3 items shown in the manual are not there.

So I guess I need to resolve this before being able to look at the Beta
