Hello,
How can i have the icone url in IE8?
i create a favicon.ico , i place it in "portal/0" and it s working only in firefox, and NOT in IE8 ???
What should i do to resolve my problem?
Please help

Be sure that after you have added the favicon.ico file to the portal that you do a hard refresh of the page in IE  (CTRL + F5)

Good morning Mitchel,
Thank you for reply, I try to refresh again my page in IE 8 (ctr+F5) but it don t want to work?
I checked a second time that my favico is correct (dimension 16*16, .ico ) but i don t know where is the problem?
Why it is working in firefox and NOT in IE8?
What should i check?

IE 8 has an icon cache, you may need to delete (please google for how to do it)

Yes, i think it s my problem (IconeCache),
I found  :

i found IconCache in my computer (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrateur\Local Settings\Application Data), (i m using windows xp not vista)
 i delete it (i cut it to my usb key)
i restarted the pc, and when i open the ie , i NOted that the icone "e" was changed by an old icon of ie too
But my icon of my solution dnn, don t appeare yet (when i tryed ?)
There is an IconCache again in some place? or ?
What should i try again ?
